“Women 4 Zohran” held on November 1, 2025, a virtual conference to talk about November 4, 2025, mayoral election in New York.
As early voting has begun on October 31, 2025 and several people have started voting, Women 4 Zohran a group of women that reunite women from all across New York, through a virtual conference, keep up the mobilization and call one more time New Yorkers to go and vote for Zohran Mamdani the democratic candidate who is running against republican candidate Curtis Sliwa and former governor of New York Andrew Cuomo an independent.
“Zohran has this empathy for people. He knows what is good for us, let’s get him in the office,” said Ramatu Hamed.
“We got to mobilize all women to go and vote for Zohran Mamdani,” said Dr. Debbie Almontaser. “This is an historic moment, we got to keep knocking doors, making phone calls, and reminding people.”
For Tazin Azad, a public advocate, “Zohran understands the whole picture when it comes to transportation, education, childcare.” She also said that Zohran has promised to support small businesses if elected.
Dr. Gifty Asamani was the moderator of the conference. She said women stand behind Zohran because he is running to make New York affordable for all.
For Rosa G. Diaz, “the fight is not over, the campaign needs to concentrate on humanity.”
Many other women have intervened echoing the same melody: mobilization, canvassing, and voting.
“We need every single vote,” said Drame Mamadou who was there to support women as other several men who showed up to support Women 4 Zohran.
