When African Journal Wishes Happy New Year To Its Detractors And …

Thanks to Almighty God who has given us grace and who will allow us to see a new day to  mark the end of a year marked by successes for some and failures for others and unfortunately crowned by a thorny halo that is the Covid 19 pandemic caused by a tiny microbe that reminds us of the limits of human beings and of the greatness of God.

The other pandemic if it is necessary to name it thus, it is the barbarity of the human being, this terrorism which has become hell on earth for the innocent people who lose their lives daily under the murderous bullets and machetes of their torturers. There is no more respite in Burkina Faso, Mali and Niger where the terrorists who were fabricated  by the Western countries and who were driven by them from their continents to take up residence in Africa, give us hard time every  single day. They kill, they slaughter, they amputate civilians, soldiers, under the helpless gaze of the various States.

African Journal expresses its empathy  with all those who have lost a son, husband, loved one, friend and wish the year 2022 to mark the end of terrorism in Africa.

The Covid – 19 spared no one. Some of us contracted the disease and were healed; others unfortunately succumbed. Once again African Journal offers its most  condolences to the various grieving families and wishes speedy recovery to all who are currently ill.

As one year draws to an end  and another begins, African Journal your journal, the news outlet  of the entire African diaspora entering its fourth year wish you a Happy New Year 2022. May Almighty God watch over each of you, strengthens and accompanies you throughout this coming new year. To those who have experienced a few failures during the year 2021, we want to say that failure is not inevitable but a step back to jump better. We also rejoice with those who rejoice, and we are of heart with everyone.

We express our gratitude to all who have supported us in one way or another. May the Lord of Lords shower them with all kinds of blessings.

There are also our detractors whom we also love. May God bless them as well. We dislike the single thought . God himself loves plurality and difference. That  is why he made us different from each other: Blacks, Whites, Reds, Yellows and he wanted us to express ourselves differently.  The reason why there are multitudes of languages spoken in the world.

We are a fully independent newspaper, and we will strive to remain as we are. Our ambition is great, but our means are derisory as the late Captain Thomas Sankara said. We need everyone’s support: Those who love us and those who hate us. But with God we will do great things. Happy New Year 2022.
